More and more Dutch people are driving electric cars, which means more and more people are going on holiday with electric vehicles. But how do you actually plan an EV road trip? Do you really need to carry five different charging cards? How do you charge as cheaply as possible? And is it really necessary to charge your car to 100% every time?
These were some of the key questions addressed in a recent webinar I had the privilege to speak at, organized by the Vereniging Elektrische Rijders (Dutch Electric Vehicle Association). The webinar, conducted in Dutch, focused on everything you need to know about taking holidays with electric cars.
Together with other specialists and experienced EV experts, we covered practical tips for making your electric road trips as smart and cost-effective as possible. The session also included plenty of opportunities for viewers to ask their questions about EV travel.
The webinar has already taken place, but you can watch the full recording here: https://www.youtube.com/live/wmAfXtjikZU?si=Y729nbOi2Q0OjoVp
The video is also embedded below in this blog post for easy viewing.
If you’re planning to go on holiday with an EV and want to do it as smartly and cheaply as possible, this webinar is definitely worth watching.
